Ripening Sangha
Slowly
Ripening Sangha practices Zen Buddhism in the
tradition of the Vietnamese monk, scholar, author and poet Thich Nhat
Hanh. It is affiliated with the Order of Interbeing and its hundreds
of sanghas throughout the world.
Meetings
are Monday 7:15–9 p.m. and are informal and relaxed.
For
your first visit come 15 minutes early to orient.
No
meditation experience needed.
Begins
with an hour of meditation—two sits and one walk. After a short
tea break, we return for a brief ceremony, a reading or a discussion
of our individual practices.
There
is no charge for joining us in meditation, but we do have a dana
(generosity) bowl out for donations.
