The end of the Annie B's Community Drive means for us a loss of funds that went to making much-needed repairs and improvements at our beautiful but aging home north of the airport. What was so lovely about the Annie B's fundraiser is that North Valley Community Foundation matched a portion of the contributions. This year a donor has offered to match at a greater percentage than NVCF was able to do for our Not-Annie B's Fundraiser. That means your contribution of $1 is still worth more than $1!

We are so grateful for past support of the Dharma Center, whose existence wholly depends generosity. Donations of people like you have sustained this unique meditation place for ten years. We are an entirely volunteer organization. Every week new people come to SCDC looking for peace and to develop a personal meditation practice as well as to find other travelers on the path to freedom. It is a joy to offer this to

In addition to providing meditation instruction and practice, we continue to host visiting teachers, monks and nuns, and offer retreat time, including daylong and weekend long experiences. Seven different groups meet regularly each week.  All groups are open and welcome everyone, experienced meditators as well as beginners.

Over this past year, thanks to the generosity of our donors, we have been able to pay off one of the two outstanding private loans which had enabled the initial purchase of our building. There have been upgrades to the sewer and the security system at the center; the air conditioning unit was repaired. Many volunteer hours were spent caring for the grounds and the facility.  In the coming year repairs are needed for the roof and the out buildings. Our goals for the near future include creating a second meditation space and making our facility ADA accessible. Your donation can help us fulfill these aspirations.
