The mission of Sky Creek Dharma Center is to support and sustain the activities of Buddhist groups (sanghas) and offer the path to the Dharma to the community. We are a non-profit, donation-based organization. Sangha is a word in Pali or Sanskrit that can be translated roughly as “community”. Sangha is the third of the Three Jewels in Buddhism (Buddha, Dharma, Sangha). The term is commonly used to refer to Buddhist groups.

All of our meditation groups are free of charge but, we ask for donations to sustain the Center. You can donate cash or via our donation page

Still Have Questions?

Want to learn more about the center, how our groups work, and other things we do here? Have other questions? Email us at admin@skycreekdharmacenter.org, leave a voicemail at (530) 592-4288 and we can call you back, or visit us at our Open House Every Saturday between 3pm and 5pm!

Every Saturday Afternoon a volunteer opens the center to visitors with free tea and treats. We can sit, have coffee or tea (maybe there will be muffins or other treats!), and chat. Take a tour of our center, ask our knowledgeable volunteer about meditation, Buddhism, the difference between the different group meetings and anything else on your mind! Occasionally there are special events on Saturdays that will cancel the Open House, so check our online calendar for the day you would like to visit or let us know you’re coming by sending an email to admin@skycreekdharmacenter.org.
